Happy National HIV testing day!

According to Catherine Morgan, it is suggested that all pregnant women be tested for HIV, in addition to anyone who might have shared syringes, needles and/or works (drugs, tattoos, etc.), had sex with partners who also have multiple partners, has traded sex for resources (like money or drugs), or already has a sexually transmitted infection (STI, also called an STD). Basically, if you or someone you have had sex with has been at risk then go in and find out. Innovative meds are available; it really is better to know.

Great HIV and testing info from the US Dept of Health and Human Services – here
